Mid-Century Modern Italian Buffet by Tito Agnoli

Built in Milan and designed by renowned architect Tito Agnoli, this buffet boasts a distinguished Brazilian rosewood body and hand-carved wooden handles on the four doors. This piece is in exceptional showroom condition and a favorite here in our gallery. Agnoli was an architect and lighting/furniture designer who worked as an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo di Carli. He designed pieces for many known companies and has been nominated for many awards during his lifetime. This piece is an excellent example of the impressive statement a simple design can add to a space. Originally priced at $14,800, the buffet is currently included in our Spring Sale for $10,360.

Vintage Seguso Murano Glass Chandelier

With 18 arms of twisted hand-blown glass, this excellent chandelier made by Seguso is impressive in size and style. The dark amethyst color of the glass draws the eye, while the opalescent cups filter the light to create a beautiful ethereal glow. The Seguso family, who still run the Seguso glass factory to this day, can trace their lineage in the glass blowing world back to 1397. They are one of the most respected and regarded glass blowers on the island of Murano and continue to create some of the most spectacular fixtures produced in Italy. We are especially drawn to this piece for the use of color and texture to the glass. Originally priced at $25,750, the chandelier is currently included in our Spring Sale for $19,300.

Romeo Rega Grand Modernist Dining Table

This Italian dining table is made of brass with chrome detailing and smoked glass top. Designed by Romeo Rega, this striking piece is large in size and style! Rega was a designer and master iron forger who was part of an elite group of modern Italian furniture designers of the 1970s. Working with other known artists like Willy Rizzo, they combined inventiveness and elegance for modernist glam. He used traditional craftsmanship with unexpected materials such as brass and Lucite. His company was still manufacturing furniture until 1981. As many vintage tables are on the smaller side, this large table is perfect for adding vintage character to your next dinner party. Originally priced at $25,000, the table is currently included in our Spring Sale for $17,500.

Vintage Italian Accessories and Lighting

Nothing finishes a space like accessories, and at Jean-Marc Fray we prioritize lamps and vases. Though we have many pairs of lamps and Murano glass vases included in our sale, here are a few of our favorite Modernist pieces. The blue glass of the hand-blown pair is striking – drawing the eye and creating a bright colorful point of interest. The glass features several techniques, including pulegoso and an iridescent finish. The vases are finished with a black glaze that gives them a modern appearance and the shape reflects a nautical theme. The lamps were originally priced at $6900, and in our sale are priced at $5175. The vases were originally priced at $4900, and are priced at $3430 as part of the sale.

Murano Glass “Coriandoli” Mirror

Want to add a focal point to your home? This mirror is eye-candy, full of color and form. Each piece of the mirror is made of hand-blown glass in a variety of tones. You will never grow tired of the details, constantly finding something new to focus on. From Murano, this piece draws attention to the history of inventing glass color that the island is known for. This piece would pair well in a space where color is king, though it would also shine as the soul of a space in a more minimalist environment. The mirror was originally priced at $15,500, while in our Spring Sale it will be priced at $11,625.
