The Mediterranean Aesthetic
We are holding on as long we can to summer this year. As most of our pieces come from the south of France and Italy we often look for inspiration through the glamorous yet effortless aesthetic of European culture. Cinema has successfully translated the delicacies of life abroad. The Mediterranean has been the backdrop to some of the most beautiful stories ever shot by a camera. We fall in love with movies that transport us overseas with picturesque moments of Mediterranean tradition, an aesthetic made of crystalline seas, cliffs, vibrant flowers and abundant fresh food. Here are a few of our favorite films that capture the true essence of life on the Mediterranean.
