Austin welcomes Ken Fulk’s boutique mansion masterpiece with open arms. The commodore perry mansion and gardens sits along Waller Creek across from the 121-year-old Hancock Golf Course and imitates the ambience of an eclectic countryside retreat. The hotel consists of 42 rooms, 12 suites, and a new inn designed by Moule and Polyzoides, an architecture firm based out of California. There are five suites located on the original manse of the property that feature interiors inspired by the eccentric and lavish finishes that were originally found in the space. After personally visiting the mansion, we were blown away by the character and charm each individual space offered. The Commodore Perry evokes the quintessential italian ambience while still highlighting Austin’s quirky culture.
