Hearth for the holidays – design inspirations
Hearth for the holidays…
If you’re fortunate enough to have a fireplace, then you know it’s the focal point of your home. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we know it’s the time of year you’re looking to bring warmth and ambiance to your space. From modern to over-the-top, we’ve gathered some of our favorite hearth designs and have paired them with our favorite Jean-Marc Fray pieces. If you’re looking for design inspiration on how to cozy up your fireplace or living room for the upcoming holidays, look no further!
Modern Abode
We imagine this room would be perfection with the addition of our new Mid-century modern Murano glass chandelier.
Mosaic hearth inside 18th Century Apartment
This room is already dripping in vintage decor and evokes a very cozy vibes, but there’s always room to add a chair you can sink into while sitting by the fire. These Italian Paolo Buffa style armchairs would be our top pick.
Antique fireplace with vintage gilded mirror
Probably one of our favorite looks – a vintage mirror over a beautiful hearth. Below is one of our current favorites in the gallery – a 19th century Louis XVI gold leaf trumeau mirror.
Minimalist living by D’Apostrophe Design
We love the clean, stark white appearance of everything in this holiday spread. The room simply doesn’t need much, but if we were decorating this space ourselves, we’d recommend providing additional light with our Murano glass opalina urn lamps.
Monochromatic Brooklyn apartment – the marriage of antique and modern
Though we adore the monochromatic look taking place in the photo above, we’re really more interested in talking about the English Chesterfield couch, and how nice it would be to cozy up there, by the fire. We’re in love with the green vintage Chesterfield pictured below – another new arrival in our gallery!
