Ebonized pieces at Jean-Marc Fray
French antique demilune with a white Carrara marble slab on top. This piece features brass trim throughout, cast hardware, and four fluted legs. It is finished with a lustrous French polish over the ebonized mahogany. Each side has a cabinet door and drawer that open out, and three dovetailed drawers go down the center of the chest.
Italian credenza or buffet attributed to Ico Parisi. This piece made of cherry has unique brass legs and brass pegs in a grid pattern, giving it a strong geometric impact. It makes an impressive impact in any space.
Mid-century modern period ebonized walnut dining chairs with brass front feet, angled legs, and a French polish finish. There are six chairs in the set. Professionally reupholstered in dark teal 100% cotton velvet.
English Campaign style secretary or chest of drawers with the iconic brass corners and inset handles, this piece also separates at the middle for easy travel. The bottom three are dovetailed drawers for general storage. The top drawer front drops down as a leather writing surface, embossed with a gold leaf frieze, with several compartments and two interior drawers, perfect for letter writing. A slick, French polished, black lacquer finish gives this vintage case piece a modern edge and sets off the shining brass hardware perfectly.
Vintage French Directoire style pair of end tables by Maison Raphael. Curule style legs, glass tops, and brass trim on ebonized wood. Each table has a single drawer with brass pull and bottom shelf. These 1940s side tables are of a very high craftsmanship quality typical to this iconic Parisian design house.
