Architectural Digest came out with their AD 100 and we loved reading through the list of incredible designer and artists they are celebrating this year. We wanted to take a moment and highlight soome of the creators we love and have been inspired by this year. Enjoy!

Dimore Studio

Founded in 2003 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, Dimorestudio is halfway between vintage and contemporary. They cover architectural and decoration projects alongside their activity as publishers (furniture, textiles, lighting) under the name Dimoremilano, in addition to their activity as gallery owners with Dimoregallery.

Patricia Urquiola

Architect, designer and creative director of Cassina, she works with the most important companies in the sector, B&B Italia, Boffi, Driade, Flos… Among her latest projects: the Sereno hotel in Como, the Room Mate Giulia hotel in Milan, the Marienturm and Marienforum towers in Frankfurt, the Das Stue hotel in Berlin and the 25Hours hotel in Florence.

India Mahdavi

Her accomplishments do not go unnoticed. Color takes precedence in homes, hotels and all the spaces she designs in a great aesthetic and practical sense. Among his notable achievements are the Hôtel du Cloître, the Coburg Bar at the Connaught Hotel in London, the Monte Carlo Beach and the Townhouse Hotel in Miami. In its showrooms, it exhibits its unique pieces, limited editions or creations resulting from various collaborations with Meriguet-Carrère, Monoprix or Louis Vuitton.

Jean-Louis Deniot

Minimalism is not for Jean-Louis Deniot, neither is excessiveness. If the interior architect and designer designs elegant but spectacular projects, like nods to other eras, he recognizes good design “when it is very chameleon”. He would like to invent “time travel” , perhaps because he would like to have dinner “with Leonardo da Vinci”.

Laura Gonzalez

Initiator of the mix & match trend, she handles the art of association… of colors, textures and materials, adept at unique fabrics and trimmings. While the finishing touches to the Hôtel Saint James are underway – a series of suites under glass roofs on the top floor – other projects are constantly evolving, like his house in Mainneville, in the Vexin.

Necchi Architecture

At the head of their interior design agency, Charlotte Albert and Alexis Lamesta form a duo that is as creative as it is complementary. Guided by a cinematographic aesthetic, they sign heartfelt interiors such as a bachelor apartment in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, an apartment on the banks of the Seine or a private project soon to be revealed.
