A set of two antique dressmaker mannequins, originally used by Parisian tailors and dressmakers for draping, alterations, and creating the latest French fashions. These adjustable height dress forms have ebonized and French polished legs and top knobs. The tall, muslin form is stamped Stockman Paris and extends from 64″ to 71.25″ tall (the body is 32″). The black painted form extends from 54 to 65.5″ tall (the body is 24″), and its base is 19.5″ wide. Very good antique condition with minor wear consistent with age, and some repairs on the fabric. Still usable for their original purpose, these Napoleon III period female forms are also a great piece of décor.
